100 THINGS
5 December 05

What is this? Why did you get this?

Oh! Chocolate! I wonder if she reads my blog?

That smells really good…Who sent this to you?

I’ve never made Rack of Lamb before. We’ve got some of those…outside. I just gave them some bread.

What’s in this jar? Are you going to make more pumpkin pie?

Look! Tazo Tea! And Food and Wine magazine…the Thanksgiving issue!

Are you sure it’s safe to eat those? Do you even know who made them?

Mmmmm…chocolate and walnuts…

Can I have some?

...

Please?

(A very special THANK YOU to Molly in Massachusetts at My Madeleine for the delicious treats! Those cookies are not long for this world We can’t stop eating!)

  1. That is such an awesome idea!

Speaking of baking; Tracey, do you bake lussekatter for the Lucia? I’m totally hooked on making them. Have baked them first thing in the morning for the past 5 years and taken them hot into work.

  2. Hi Alistair!

I haven’t tried to do lussekatter yet. I very much would like to but I’m still afraid of using yeast. So far my baking adventures have been limited to quick breads (like banana bread—and my failures have been well documented!) and cookies.

    Send me your recipe.

Maybe I’ll try this year. Oh, man…Santa Lucia is NEXT WEEK!!

    Tiden går fort!

  3. Det ska jag gra!

Ive found that the thing with yeast cooking is to be patient and plan other things to do while the yeast does its thing… and warmth, not heat is the order of the day.

    Ska grva upp mitt recipt…

hmm why don’t my svensk bokstver appear??
